I never haid booked the Buisiness Class and Inever will do it.
Lovely video, my favourite train in Spain is the iryo
11:05 I believe its pronounced Yon-ish-kiss
Never ever ride night trains , you cannot enjoy scenery,/ bumpy & noisy ride / risk of loosing valuable etc.
What a stupid comment
Trains are made by Chinese not by Spanish. Chinese trains only can achieve 350km.
These trains are Spanish, NOT Chinese.
Love the video, and Are you planning to make a video on Indonesian commuterline?,,,
Not really my thing, I'm afraid!
Crooks of The Sri Laka Railaway department wont understand this, The will ruin the railway industry day by day while risking the live of the people as wel as losing the incoming dollars through tourism.
Sri Lanka is very small country where the requirement for a sleeper train for local transport is pretty much less. While Accepting the below average condition in this Train for a passenger I would recommend you far more better options for the same trip. If you are a tourist or even a local wish experience this breath taking journey try something like odyssy train. There are some more morning trains which are far better as s well.
Public services in Sri Lanka is not up to standard. It needs many changes. For example if you’re looking for safety and comfort sorry local buses and trains don’t give that. Most of the public buses are lorries converted in to buses by the Indian TATA company and dumped in to the system. Technically using a countries economic situation and trying to make money out of it TATA shoud be ashamed.
Not many customers 😂😂😂😂😂
In Egypt, train travelling is easy, as nearly all Egypt is "one dimensional". 🙂 I took trains from Cairo to Alexandria and back, from Cairo to Luxor (by day train), from Luxor to Aswaan, And from Aswaan Main to Aswaan Saddu l-'ali (in order to take the ferry to Wadi Halfa in Sudan). I also think this nighttrain is a little bit on the old side and needs some refurbishment. But hei.... everything in Egypt is old. 🙂
OBB = Oh Baby (this new train sucks)
I am surprised you took that trip with a broken seat-belt and in that seat!! But I guess safety sit on different levels of priority for different people.
Excellent these types if Bus should be in Pakistan
so if you are a woman with a male baby, which toilet do you choose?
What is the use of it when it was not running during haj time
It runs all year round.
Compared to UK train prices, this is astonishingly cheap....
Imagine they would put Christian stuff on trains in the uk / Europe all those Muslims would cry
why?
Hello, nice video, I would like to ask you: Price for train Nova Gorica - Lago return Price to arrive at the castle by boat Is the return journey by bus always the same point as the stop where you arrived? Thank you with all my heart ☺
The lovely host 😜🫢
Sorry, there was a mistake in the intro. Shanghai has currently 29 Mio, but it's not the biggest city - that is Chongqing with 32 Mio.
i'd hardly say pram ramps are "ex-soviet"! you'll find those in any european city, especially away from main stations.
I've noticed bike ramps out/in at stations are the norm in countries like Stockholm and Oslo, never under Soviet rule.
It’s not too bad for Cambodian people. It’s nearly normal haha.
Wife and I did Lux bus trip from Estonia to Riga in 2019. We really enjoyed the trip. surprised how comfortable, my wife slept almost entire trip. wonderful way to see the countryside, better view than airplane

Thanks for an excellent review. I took this train back in January and I do agree with everything you said in the video. One thing that I find rather odd and problematic is the very early 6:30AM departure from Vilnius. Not everyone would be happy to get up at 4:30-5:00AM to catch a train. It should depart at around 9AM or some other more reasonable time. Ideally there should be at least one more daily train to each direction. It is great that Vilnius-Riga service is finally back. It is a matter of principle to have a proper train connection between neighboring EU countries where rail infrastructure exists. it also seems that the service was a success judging by how difficult it is to book a seat on many days even long in advance.
I agree, hence why I did it the other way round 😂
I took this train from Munich to Verona a couple of weeks ago and was actually very impressed with it. So I would somewhat disagree that it's not great, because I think it really is. Certainly one of the best train services I've been onto, and I've been to most of the best train services in Europe and Asia. One thing that I was especially impressed with on this train was the food and reasonable prices, for a train at least. While I do agree with issues like steps in the interior of the train and gendered toilets (that one IS weird, I agree), those aren't really a big deal. The reality is that hardly any trains in Europe offer real step-free accessibility. From what I know, more or less the only country in the world that has that in all stations on its new HSR system, thanks to standardized ~1.1m high platforms. Also, perhaps Japan and Taiwan? Therefore pointing out steps inside the train as a limiting factor for accessibility in this, or any other European train, in my view, isn't completely fair in that regard. One thing that I really agree with and what really surprised me in a negative way was the rather poor seat ergonomics in 1st class. Seats are HUGE, well padded, legroom is massive, materials are very high quality and everything would be great, except the fact that those seats aren't designed with ergonomics in mind and after a longer journey my back started hurting a little bit, which was really something I did not expect! I really wonder what were the designers of those seats thinking? Did they just believe that ergonomics don't matter? As for Business class, I was also surprised, because I actually wanted to book it and couldn't find the Single seat in the seat map. Took me some time to realise that they were not available on the new trains. Still, all in all, I think this is a great train and it is "that good" since it is, after all, one of the best trains in Europe, only coming second or third after the likes of Frecciarossa Executive or Italo Salotto class which are rather extreme and perhaps even unnecessarily luxurious as far as train classes in Europe go.
I guess most of it is subjective 😉
I prefer the S340
Great video!
Thanks!
Hate to tell you but I worked for Knorr Bremse uk ltd and our company supplied the brakes for the French TGV that set a record run of 574.8kph (357.2mph) on the then new high speed line between Paris and Strasburg in 2007. They did this to show that you don’t have to go the Maglev way for speed. Mind you it did use a lot of Electricity to do it. This is why first the British then the Germans gave up on the Maglev idea. The British prototype is in Peterborough if you want to see it? Unless it’s rusted away
Ah excellent where do I buy a ticket for this super fast train that's in regular service? (Btw Chinese maglev testing is now at 623km/h @ 70% of power)
@@NonstopEurotrip this was just a fact from a railway engineer didn’t want a diplomatic incident over it. By the way we couldn’t have done the run in England because we don’t have enough atomic power stations unlike France.
I just recently seen your videos and i honestly believe you do the most professional travel videos I’ve yet seen so far! Great job!!
Anda harus ke Batam Kepulauan Riau dud
The most beautiful city in Austria no doubt, and I really like the train station it's small and you have all you need
Train ticket too expensive for lndia.
Why?
I wouldn't pay that much for a train ticket in lndia way too much.
It's Mumbai not Moombai
?
This looks comfortable. I wish we have sleeper buses for interstate trips in Australia. The interstate buses here have standard seats with only a limited recline and laid out in 2+2. Not too comfortable!
I've been to almost all of the countries of Europe and Lithuania, particulary Vilnius is very underrated. Great video!
Hi! First of all, thank you very much for a nice, interesting and quite informative video on the renewed Riga-Vilnius train service! Keep up the great job! Now, as for new ideas. Since you've mentioned that you intend to spend some time in the Baltics in the coming months, I'd like to suggest you exploring Gulbene-Alūksne narrow gauge heritage railway. It is accessible by Rīga-Gulbene train, and.. well, to me, with these authentic fully restored original Pafawag and other coaches, as well as weekly service, done by locally restored steam locomotive - as well as many other local activities - might be quite an experience! Especially if you can make it there on "Bānīša svētki"(Bānītis - "tiny Bahn"/railway/; svētki - holiday) in September - it's quite an event usually, and as a railroad fan, I believe you'll definitely enjoy it 🙂. Further information you can find at www.banitis.lv/ . And we'll be glad to watch ;-).
Würden Sie zwischen beiden Städten eher diese Route oder jene über Marchegg empfehlen?
Definitely not Amtrak.
Definitely not 😂
Bro next journey in Pakistan 😂

That’s nice ride….couple questions…how expensive it is to live there? How most folks make a living over there?
как то медленно 348 км за почти 4 с половиной часа, из Москвы в Питер 650км поезд типа Дезиро проезжает за 5часов и 25 минут
Very interesting journey 😂
Thank you for showing us what this connection is rail-ly like.
My father in law is a retired Lithuanian train driver. He went to travel on this train last week. You can see how the Rail Baltika project is proceeding when travelling out of Kaunas. It is such an important project for the region, both as an infrastructure project and a tie to the rest of the EU.
It's very important to connect these countries to the remainder of Europe.
Should have been a thing regardless of Russian actions
@@qjtvaddict better later than never

1:15 If you can find ways of cooking your own food you can make it a lot cheaper. You can buy cheap food in grocery stores. You can cook it on a primus stove. And you can set up a tent in most places out in nature in Norway for two nights pr property without asking the owner first. Get familiar with the laws though. No leaving garbage, breaking beaches, being noisy, bothering anyone etc... 8:28 This is the former government owned railway. As you can see the comfort is better then in the Swedish railway and other private offerings replacing them on many lines... 14:04 Considering the speed limits on our roads 95 km/h is actually pretty decent. 20:34 Honestly the Flåm line is a little bit of a tourist trap... Its nice, especially if mixed with a express boat to Bergen... But it's just too touristy... 22:24 This is better. What you described as beautiful scenery in the way up was ugly and dry in my book. Climate change is messing with the climate in Norway and our nature is suffering the consequences. The country used to be green pretty much everywhere. But it's clear that the rain shadow has been told dry for too long there. But on this side of the river it *does* look good.
